Astrology Qualities
Cardinal, Mutable and Fixed

The three Astrology Qualities are divided into Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable.

By learning about some of the general characteristics of each quality you can gain more awareness of yourself as well as others.

You can go to www.astro.com and follow the instructions to produce your own Astrological Chart.

I have provided a brief summary of each Quality:

CARDINAL

The Cardinal Signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. These signs also mark the beginning of the seasons. They love to begin and initiate things and are action orientated.

If you have too many cardinal signs in your chart you may tend to be a bit reckless. With a lack of cardinal you may need to push yourself to motivate yourself into action.

FIXED

The Fixed Signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. The desire here is to stabilise and consolidate. Fixed signs are determined and follow through although they can sometimes be a bit too stubborn.

A large amount of fixed signs in your chart can make it hard for you to accept change. A lack of fixed energy can make it hard to follow through and complete tasks already started.

MUTABLE

The Mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. These signs mark the end of the seasons and hence don't mind change. They love change and adapt to different situations quickly.

If mutable is in abundance you may be a bit disorganised. A lack of mutable can cause you to be too rigid.

SUMMARY

The Qualities give you more extra information and help explain why others act in certain ways. You may also choose to develop some of the skills or behaviours you lack to lead a more productive life. Just because it does not come naturally to you does not mean you cannot learn a new way of doing things when required.
